Singing for Summer.

Ahhhhh.

Sunshiney summer moments.

Singing for Summer.

Lately I've been enjoying sitting amongst the flowers in my garden, sipping some iced kukicha tea, and getting some much needed vitamin D.

Since I made a bit of a change as far as my work goes, I've been feeling better and better. It's so interesting how being in a situation that doesn't work for you (which is often something you don't realize, as it was for me) can affect the body, mind, and spirit. After a few weeks of adjustment, I feel re-energized, and back on track!

Speaking of being happy...there's one thing that almost everyone loves: SUMMER!

The summer solstice is today for us North Americans. In yoga tradition, I'm going to do 108 sun salutations to welcome the change of season. I plan to do Ashtanga-style salutations:  11 As, 1 B. Then repeat 9 times for the grand total of 108.

Here's a link  to my previous experience doing this.

Have you ever done 108 sun salutations?

How are/did you celebrating the summer solstice?
